So last Saturday we did the ultimate in London tourist goodness and took an open-topped bus tour, as well as the free river cruise. And it was fabulous. And in case you don’t believe me, I have included a slide-show of Willem’s ‘artistically styled’ shots of the day. Enjoy.
Note: we both agree the highlight of the day was being just off the Tower Bridge and watching it being raised to let a sailing boat through. Not something you can plan for, but worth seeing if you ever get the chance – engineering becomes poetry.
